One of the real joys this holiday season was the opportunity to say ‘thank you’ for the difference so many wonderful people made in my life. Looking back, 2014 feels like a whirlwind. I am not only astounded with the growth of the Mr. & Mrs. company, but also can’t even begin to count the amazing blessings and opportunities I was given. In November, as the wedding season was winding down, I began working closely with creative entrepreneur Whitney English to really define what it is I am trying to do here. I discovered there were many important ways our mission was different from other companies, and many other areas in which growth was needed. Together we built a brand that maximized our focus and desire to provide custom wedding coordination through deep and personal generosity. I hope this is evident in our newly designed Offerings and Approach. The things that happened next still blow my mind. So many friends stepped in to help in ways I didn’t even know I needed, and for that I will be forever grateful. First, I teamed up with the extremely talented Laura Ann Miller to coordinate an gorgeous photo shoot which resulted in some incredible imagery we hope to successfully publish this month. Then Behind the Veil agreed to capture a promo video which is now stunningly featured on Our Approach page. After that The Knot contacted me to say we had won their Best of The Knot 2015 award, something only granted to the top 2% of vendors. The following week the love of my life completely surprised me with a wedding proposal of our very own. So like I said, it’s been a whirlwind.

My goal for 2015 is to be a good steward of these blessings as Mr. & Mrs. continues to evolve. As the calendar continues to fill and my friend list continues to grow, I am filled with excitement to see what each unique wedding will bring.  Cheers and happy wedding planning!
