Hey, lovelies! Every Friday is a happy Friday, right? Let’s start this one with an introduction:
I’ve been with Mr. & Mrs. for a year now, and what a year it has been! The number one thing I love about this company is the high value placed on authenticity–the big picture coming together in small details that reflect who the bride and groom are as people and as a couple. When that happens, I truly believe a spirit of closeness, no matter the size of the guest list, is inevitable.
I hail from St. Louis and, after a hiatus for college, am so excited to be back and exploring the city as an adult. It’s amazing to see the places I’ve known since I was young become fresh when they are filled with the life and love that each unique wedding inspires.
At your ceremony, you can find me lining up your groomsmen while stifling laughter at the sweetly hilarious things they say when nerves and emotions are running high. At your reception you can find me by the coffee bar quietly jamming out to all of the throwbacks on your playlist–extra kudos if it includes R. Kelly’s Ignition (Remix, duh).
While Megan rocks some serious bling on her left hand (good job, Spencer), I’m happily still a miss. I’m entering a season of life where the number of friends and college cohorts getting married is starting to rival our client list. Being in this line of work has given me quite the perspective on what it means to be a good guest, a supportive friend, and an honest confidant when it comes to friends’ big days, all of which I can’t wait to share on the blog. There might also be some satirical advice on finding an exceptional plus one, something I always seem to be in need of!
Some other random things about me in list form:
- Completely inspired by Hello May
- White Russian enthusiast
- Yeah, I’ve thought about what my own wedding will entail–an epic dessert bar, a sunny & 70 degree day in May, Chris Pratt…just to name a few
