Kathryn & Samuel tied the knot last weekend and I’m still swooning over how fabulous the day was. We had been working together for the past year and this lady has become quite dear to my heart! The wedding day may have passed, but with the holiday’s quickly approaching I just had to share their adorable winter engagement session with you!

If you are planning an engagement session over the coming month here are a few tips:

-Dress warm! If you are painfully cold that day it will show on your face, and I bet that isn’t exactly the look you’re going for! Opt for chunky sweaters and fashionable coats, then add fun accessories like a blanket or scarf!

-Pick locations that aren’t completely dead. We all know everything dies in the winter, but scout out spots that have winter greenery to avoid too much of a drab background. A Christmas tree farm or park can be the perfect location!

-Pack a pair of gloves and a thermos for in between locations. It will give you a chance to thaw out!
